Mother 
This page is dedicated to my mother who passed away on April 19th, 1984 after suffering with colon cancer. There is not a day goes by that I don't miss her dearly.
I WROTE THIS JUST FOR YOU MOM
Seems Like Yesterday
It has been nineteen years
Since my mother has gone
It seems like yesterday
That I heard her say
I love you don't stay out long
No more smiles that soothed my soul
No more laughter that made me
Look with such admiration at the
Light that surrounded her face
It seems like yesterday
It just doesn't seem right
All the catchy little phrases
I remember she use to say
Your looking at the world
Through rose colored glasses
I was so young I didn't understand
It seems like yesterday
She was always so full of life
So full of love for everyone
Gentle with her touch and
So very caring with her words
Every time I look back
Seems like yesterday, now she's gone
I do believe the spirit
Lives on when we die
There is always that certain
Scent of perfume, or
The smell of honeysuckle
When spring comes around
That will let you remember that
It seems like yesterday
From your loving daughter

This is an award that I made. I thought that it is so pretty, I just had to put it here in memory of my mother. Which, after all, was the inspiration for me making the award.
